New Jersey Monthly Magazine puts out a list ranking all of New Jersey’s public high schools in a bi-annual issue. Lets see how Emerson, Hillsdale, Montvale, Park Ridge, Washington Township, Westwood, and Woodcliff Lake of the Pascack Valley performed in the rankings in their respected school districts.
The highest ranking school in the Pascack Valley, Park Ridge, moved up 4 spots from the 2010 rankings to #14 in the entire state.
Pascack Hills, is part of the Pascack Valley Regional School District and
is comprised of students from the towns of Montvale and Woodcliff Lake. Pascack Hills High School dropped 11 slots in the rankings, but is still rated as one of the top 20 in the state of New Jersey at #18.
Westwood Regional High School has a big improvement over their 2010 rankings. Westwood Regional is comprised of students from Westwood and neighboring Washington Township. Westwood regional soared 34 slots from 2010 up to #58 in the state. Great job Westwood!
Pascack Valley High School, took a bit of a tumble in the rankings. It is part of the Pascack Valley Regional School District and is comprised of students from Hillsdale and River Vale. It dropped 50 lots from #23 to #73 in the state.
Emerson High School also took a significant drop from #34 in 2010 to #77 in the latest rankings.
Overall, the Pascack Valley area did outstanding in the rankings, with all the area high schools ranking in the 23% of all public high schools in the state.
Great schools is another good reason to move to the Pascack Valley area of Bergen County.
